主讲人简介：

台湾大学谢南瑞（Narn-Rueih Shieh）。谢南瑞教授在台湾大学获得博士学位，曾在日本京都大学取得任教资格。谢教授在台湾大学以教授身份工作了24年，并在2011年做为名誉教授工作之今，曾在概率及分形领域发表70多篇SCI论文。

讲座摘要：

is also strictly stationary, and is positive-valued, with mean 1.The exponential ( geometric) processes have been significantly important in Stochastic Analysis and Modeling; our works investigate  the covariance decay and the expected maximum increments of such,  The motivation and  applications  in telecommunications and  in financial markets will be discussed.
