主讲人简介:Head of Division at the Division of Farm and Enterprise Economics in Lithuanian Institute of Agrarian Economics. Senior specialist of Training Centre of the Ministry of Finance. Awarded as President of the Republic of Lithuania A. Brazauskas scholarship for 2012–2013; and Younger researcher scholarship (2015–2016) from Lithuanian Academy of Sciences. As a 29-year-old young scholar, he had published more than one hundred Papers in in the SCI/SSCI etc. core journals.
讲座摘要:We focus on the mathematical programming for analysis of sustainability and productivity with applications to energy and agriculture. The models of linear programming are mostly used in the analysis. The pinch analysis based on the ecological footprint approach is used to model the gains in sustainability of energy production due to changes in the energy-mix. The production activities can be modelled by applying Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). In order to model environmental effects, the DEA models are extended by incorporating the undesirable outputs. We illustrate this by considering the case of China’s agriculture.
